By using Mycel, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What Mycel Is¶
Mycel is experimental, open-source software for delay-tolerant mesh messaging. It is provided as-is, without warranty.
Acceptable Use¶
You agree to:
- Use Mycel only for lawful purposes
- Not use Mycel to send spam, malware, or illegal content
- Not attempt to compromise other users' devices
- Not interfere with the mesh network's operation
No Warranty¶
Mycel is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Reliability or availability
- Message delivery guarantees
- Security against all threats
Limitation of Liability¶
The developers of Mycel shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use the app
- Undelivered or delayed messages
- Loss of data
- Security breaches
- Any other harm arising from use
Message Delivery¶
Mycel uses best-effort delivery. We do not guarantee:
- That messages will be delivered
- Delivery within any timeframe
- Message ordering
- Delivery confirmation accuracy
Privacy¶
Your use of Mycel is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Open Source¶
Mycel is open source software. You may:
- View, modify, and distribute the source code
- Fork and create derivative works
- Subject to the applicable open source license
Changes¶
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Governing Law¶
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
Severability¶
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
